Taiwan PCB Makers Cashing In on Mainland

More and more Taiwanese printed circuit board (PCB) makers have geared up to set up production plants in China's mainland, a Taiwanese media reported Monday, January 8.

The media said that at present, the combined PCB output value of China's mainland and Hong Kong is the world's fourth largest, behind only that of Japan, the United States and Taiwan.

If local PCB manufacturers continue moving to the mainland at the present rate, the mainland is likely to soon replace Taiwan as the world's third largest producer, the media said.
