FM Spokesman on Thailand's General Election
China is pleased to see that the general election in
Thailand
is progressing smoothly, said Zhu Bangzao Tuesday at a regular press conference.
China also congratulates Thailand's Thai Rak Thai Party ("Thai Loves Thai") on winning the majority of seats in the incoming House of Representatives, the lower chamber, he added.
Zhu noted that China is convinced that Sino-Thai good-neighborly relations of mutual trust will continue to expand.
