Blast Damages Office in Kashmir
At least 30 people were injured, many of them critically, in a powerful blast in Srinagar, regional capital of
India
-controlled Kashmir, on Tuesday, the Press Trust of India (PTI) reported.
The blast occurred at the main gate of the local telecommunications department, where a large number of people had gathered to pay telephone bills, the PTI quoted local official sources as saying.
The injured were admitted to hospital where the condition of four was described as serious.
No militant outfit has so far claimed responsibility for the blast, the PTI noted.
