First Online K12 Database of Education Resources Unveiled

K12 Education Resources, a major academic project during the 9th Five Year Plan period, also the largest database and first of its kind for primary and middle school education in China, has passed the appraisal by specialists in Beijing recently. This database, according to experts, will help fill in the gaps of China's online resources for K12 education.

In the past, most primary and middle schools in China could not take advantage of education network in their teaching work, mainly due to insufficient online information for education.

Starting from last year, the K12 Internet Company invited some 200 specialists in education to engage in the research and development of the said K12 Education Resources. The database contains knowledge of all aspects for K12 education with some ten sub-categories including courseware, courseware exchanges, references, extensive reading, thesis on teaching and overall review on education.
