China Girls Crash Team of Retirement 10-1 in Ice Hockey International
The Chinese national team crashed January 5 a team consisted of retired capped players 10-1 in a women's ice hockey international competition.

China, who finished sixth in the world A pool championships, beat world eighth-placed Japan 4-2 on Thursday, when the competition began as preparations for the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Games.

Without too many teams to choose, the national team had to invited the retired player to make up the number of the competitors.

The younger and faster national team easily broke into the defence of the team of retirement, most of whose players are over 30.

The competition will finish on Saturday when Japan face the team of retirement.
