Thanks Letters from Tibetans in Disaster Areas

As the Spring Festival and Tibetan New Year loom, Tibetans from the disaster-stricken areas in Xigaze Prefecture have written letters to China's central authorities, expressing their gratitude for the great attention and care paid by the Party and people from all walks of life during their flood fighting.

Areas along Nyangqu River of Tibet's Xigaze Prefecture suffered a serious flood last August. Under the leadership of the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council, departments at all levels quickly organized military troops and local people for flood fighting in an effort to reduce the losses to the lowest level possible. Up to now, the more than 60,000 victims have all been well supplied with food and houses to guarantee a warm winter. On top of that, not a child was dropped out due to the flood.
