China-made Enterprise Management Software Goes Abroad

A Shanghai-based software company is expected to export a large amount of its self-developed enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to the United States, Britain and southeast Asian countries.

China Unique Universe Information Co. Ltd. has signed deals with software companies in these countries to sell its ERP software, which was formerly monopolized by developed countries.

The software, sold at 10,000 yuan (around US$1,200) a package, is specially designed for small and medium-sized fast food enterprises.

More than 20,000 enterprises in Beijing will try the software early this year before it is exported.

A spokesman with the company said that the software requires less than two weeks for installation and personnel training, much shorter than similar foreign software available on the market.

Moreover, a multilayer structure has been applied in the software, which facilitates the direct updating of the software via satellite, the spokesman added.
