CNS News Photo Website Inaugurated
Formally launched on January 1,2001 under China News Service (CNS) is CNS News Photo Website (www.cnsphoto.com ) designed to provide news media with news photos from various parts of China and throughout the world.
CNS News Photo Website releases every day 50 to 100 photo contributions from hundreds of CNS cameramen stationed in different parts of China and major world metropolises.
Early back on January 1, 1999, China News Service had its Chinanews.com (www.chinanews.com.cn ) launched and by making most of its rich news resources Chinanews.com has since had its influence felt as a major news provider to back up the work of news media in China and abroad. So far, it has established cooperative ties with Yahoo, LYCOS, Sina, Soho, Netease, China.com, EASTDAY.com and other Chinese websites. Chinanews has been cited as one for its commendable work to take the 4th place in the national website appraisal conducted in 1999.
CNS News Photo Website is going to have service given with a large store of as many as 100,000 news photos available and helped with modern facilities. It provides cameramen and photo fans with photo uploading platform and sees to it that agent services are provided and maximum commercial values of news photos realized.
Editor-in-chief of CNS News Photo Website told that it makes another new try by China News Service to have such a photo news website launched in the way news media in China and abroad are provided with more and quality news photos from the website. Hot issues, photo archives of celebrities, information on Tibetan life and the like feature news reports will be released in time to meet the demand of domestic and overseas news media for an increased number of news photos to be released from China.
