National Defense Ministry Holds New Century Concert
The Chinese Ministry of National Defense hosted a concert for military attaches Tuesday night to mark the coming of the new century.
Over 300 military attaches, their spouses and officers and soldiers from the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) attended the concert.
Senior officers attending the concerts were Xiong Guangkai, deputy chief of PLA general staff, Yuan Shoufang, deputy director of the PLA General Political Department, Wen Guangchun, deputy director of the PLA General Logistics Department and Li Yuanzheng, deputy director of the PLA General Armament Department.
