New Year's Tea Party Held in Beijing

A New Year's tea party is held in Beijing Monday morning.

Attending the 2001 New Year's tea party are Chinese leaders Jiang Zemin, Li Peng, Zhu Rongji, Li Ruihuan, Hu Jintao, Wei Jianxing and Li Lanqing and more than 400 other people from all walks of life in Beijing.

Chinese President Jiang Zemin is delivering an important speech at the party at press time.
