China to Hold International Vegetable Fair
An international vegetable fair will be held in Shouguang City of Shandong Province, the largest vegetable production base in China, in April 2001.
Dozens of countries and international organizations including Food and Agricultural Organizations of the United Nations and the World Bank have expressed their willingness to co-sponsor the fair with China.
In addition to vegetables and other agricultural products, cultivating technologies, processing equipment, and fertilizers will also be exhibited and traded at the fair.
In April this year, the city successfully held the "Shouguang China Vegetables Fair 2000".
