Over 50,000 Cubans Protest Against U.S. Policy

Over 50,000 Cubans, headed by Vice-President Raul Castro, staged a mass protest Saturday against the U.S. Cuban policy.

The protests demanded the application of justice to Luis Posada Carriles, who was arrested in November in Panama City for planning the attempted murder of Cuban President Fidel Castro during his participation in the 10th Ibero American Summit.

The protesters announced that they would continue their protest into 2001, and repeatedly shouted the slogan "We will keep on fighting."
