College for Korean War Veterans Set up

A college exclusively for Korean War veterans and their spouses was set up recently in Chengdu, capital city of southwest China's Sichuan Province.

The college, the first of its kind in the country, has so far enrolled more than 500 veterans from different part of the province, many of whom rendered outstanding service during the war in the early 1950s.

In addition to general knowledge courses, the veterans will study the history of the Korean War and write their personal experience in the battle fields for the series of reminiscences to be published.
