ABC Helped Zhejiang University with Big LoanThe Agriculture Bank of China (ABC) and Zhejiang University on December 28 signed in Beijing an agreement for developing all-round cooperation in developing education. Shang Fulin, governor of the bank, and Pan Yunpeng, president of the Zhejiang University, signed the agreement on behalf of each side.ABC promised to provide Zhejiang University with a credit loan of 5 billion yuan for infrastructure construction, purchasing equipment, building network for long-distance education, turning high-tech result into actual use and so on. This is the biggest of like loans ABC has ever offered in China. In addition, ABC has also had similar agreements signed with some dozens of universities such as Peking University and People's University for a loan amount of tens of billion yuan in developing China's higher education.
