Lottery Boosts Residents' Enthusiasm for Sports
Beijing has set up some 70 ��Fitness Paths�� in parks and residential community centers since the beginning of this year using revenue of sports lotteries.
Sports facilities such as parallel bars and balance beams are included in the Fitness Paths.
In Beijing, the lottery have collected some 400,000 US dollars, 30 percent of the lottery earnings, to build public health-fitness programs, giving a boost to residents' enthusiasm to participate in sports.
