First Domain Name Registration Certificates Issued
A group of 90 companies have received certificates for domain name registration. Beijing Industrial and Commercial Bureau handed these companies the first batch of Domain Name Registration Certificates on December 27.
Beijing Industrial and Commercial Bureau is one of three online business supervisors authorized by the State Industrial and Commercial Bureau.
Li Zongting, director of Publicity Office of the Beijing bureau, said they have received 6,600 applications since September 1st, when the first regulations on domain name registration were published.
