Eight Suspected Stowaways Detained in Dalian

Police in Lushun port of Dalian city in northeast China's Liaoning Province, arrested eight stowaways recently, who attempted to sneaked into Japan by sea.

Patrol police at the harbor detected these people on Monday and found them to be suspected stowaways after interrogation.

The eight men, aged between 22 to 39, had traveled from Fujian Province in east China under the organization of a stowaway agent known as the "snakehead", and plotted to enter Japan by boat on Christmas night.
