Inter-Korean Economic Meeting Kicks Off in Pyongyang
Delegates from ROK (The Republic of Korea) and DPRK (The Democratic People's Republic of Korea) will open the first meeting of an inter-Korean committee for the promotion of economic cooperation early Thursday in Pyongyang.
The two Koreas plan to discuss a number of key economic issues, including the South's provision of electricity to the North, the construction of an industrial complex in Kaesung, DPRK, the construction of a road and rail link between the two Koreas, and the construction of a dam on the Imjin river to prevent flooding.
