Up to 500 Mn Yuan Raised by Securities Market This Year
By December 26, Chinese securities market has raised total 141.7 billion yuan through initial public offering, additional offering and right offering, approximately 65 percent higher over the last year's, as referred by the statistics provided by Guotai & Junan Securities Research Institute. This is the very first time for the stock market to financed more than 100 billion yuan since its inception.
The relative historical statistics indicated that the stock market went through a zigzag process of financing. In 1997, Shanghai and Shenzhen stock market once raised 95.8 billion yuan capital, almost 100 billion yuan. After that, the volumes fell to 74,638 million yuan and 85,664 million yuan respectively.
With the stepping up of initial public offering, the two markets had collected 98,112 million yuan by the end of October this year. To November, the accumulated capital volume exceeded the 100 billion yuan to 119.1 billion yuan. The new share offering once again accelerated this month, 30 shares offered their new shares or additional new shares. It is accumulated to 22,664 million yuan by 26 of December. Thus the totally raised capital of this year attained up to 141.7 billion yuan.
The insider analyzed that the growing of institutional investors would lay a benign foundation for the better role of the stock market in respect of financing. Propelled by the listing admittance of three categories enterprises and a series of over-regular measures of cultivating institutional investors, these institutional investors stepped up in listing. At the same time, the listing system innovation of additional offering and legal person allotment enable one fundamental step in inducing large capitalization and institutional investors' fostering.
