Over Half Million HK People Experience EuroChristmas
More than 630,000 people have visited Hong Kong's EuroChristmas over the past 10 days since its opening to the public on December 16, according to the organizers of the event.
The EuroChristmas, the first of its kind in Hong Kong, features the wintery European Christmas setting, the hundred wooden chalets, the Ferris wheel, merry-go-round and breath-taking ski performance.
The folk music, dancing and other displays from Austria, Nordic countries, Britain and Italy over the past few special European days have given Hong Kong people a better understanding of the festive tradition in these European countries, the organizers said.
Coming soon will be Russia Day and Greece Day as well as a countdown on New Year's Eve, they added.
