Viewing Dawning of New Century in China
Jilin
Province in northeast China is preparing to welcome visitors to view China's first ray of sunshine of the 21st century.
It will last from December 31 this year to January 4, 2001 on the Senlin Mountains in thecity of Huichun.
During the activities, local departments will arrange singing, dancing and firecracker performances. People may also take a trip to bordering
Russia
and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
