Chinese, Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Hold Business Talks

Chinese and Vietnamese entrepreneurs held business talks Tuesday, December 26, for further increasing economic and trade cooperation between two countries.

Vu Tien Loc, secretary general of the Vietnam Chamber of Industry and Commerce, said that bilateral trade this year is expected to exceed two billion U.S. dollars as a result of rapid growing cooperation between Vietnam and China in recent years.

Yu Jianlong, deputy director of the International Relations Department of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said that China and Vietnam enjoy a traditional friendship and both countries have witnessed fast economic growth in recent years.

"All this has laid a solid foundation for economic cooperation and development of trade between the two countries," Yu added.

The Vietnamese entrepreneurs, who are in Beijing with visiting President Tran Duc Luong, reached several letters of intent with their Chinese partners during the talks.
