Shengli Oilfield Established Microbe Product Line for Oil ExtractionBy using germs to increase oilfield value in use and oil production December 17 saw a new microbe product line for oil extraction formally set up and put into operation in the Shandong-based Shengli Oilfield, the second large oil producer in China.This microbe oil extraction is applicable to those oilfields that retain lots of residue after the flushing in the first phase and pumping extractions at the second. This method is of great value to those oilfields in use including Daqing, Shengli, Liaohe and Henan oilfields, which have undergone the first two phases of extraction. As reported Shengli Oilfield has already reaped over 2 million tons oil by way of the new method in the testing period. Currently, altogether 33 fields of Shengli Oilfield have adopted this technology, resulting in about 3 million tons more of oil every year. By PD Online Staff Huang Ying |
