China to Increase Openness in Township Government Affairs
China will carry out a policy that asks for openness in government affairs in townships all over the country.
According to a circular recently released by the general offices of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council, the policy will focus on issues that concern the masses and those strongly opposed by most people, especially financial issues.
The circular called for the establishment of a supervisory system, saying it is the key to implementing the policy.
