World Largest Bronze Ancient Cooking Vessel Built up in Guangdong
A bronze ancient cooking vessel, which is 6.68 meters high, 5.58 meters wide and weighs 16 tons, was inaugurated Saturday in Dinghu Mountain, a scenic spot in Zhaoqing of southern China's Guangdong Province.

The bronze cooking vessel, with two loop handles and three legs, is so far the largest of its kind in the world. It was designed by Professor Ma Chengyuan, a famous bronzeware expert in China.

Ancient cooking vessels, which is one of the major symbols of the ancient Chinese culture, has also been an important gift in China.

At the same time, a Duan ink slab, which is 2.78 meters long, 2.18 meters wide and weighs 2 tons, was also inaugurated at the same place today.

It is also claimed be the world's largest Duan ink slab.

Shanghai Office of Guiness Book of Records conferred two certificates to leaders of the city of Zhaoqing today.

Zhaoqing plans to build an ancient cook vessel park in Dinghu Mountain to attract domestic and overseas tourists.
