Tenth Guangxi Science, Technology Week Scheduled
South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will hold a science and technology week in Nanning, the regional capital, from January 5-11 next year.
It will be the tenth of its kind. During the tenth science and technology week, 21 kinds of activities, including trade fairs, auction of patented technologies, exhibitions of scientific and technological achievements and seminars by science celebrities will be organized.
Zhang Zhengyou, assistant chairman of the regional government and director of the regional science and technology department, said there will be more than 2,000 kinds of scientific achievements that will be exhibited at the trade fair, and a list containing 600 projects seeking investments will also be published at the fair.
Zhang added that various preparations for the science and technology week have been carried out in a planned manner.
