Web Site for Primary, Middle School Teachers Launched
A web site for primary and middle school teachers (http://www.chinaTDE.net) opened in Beijing on December 21 to help 10 million teachers across China meet the target of studying for life.
The Ministry of Education entrusted the Long-Distance Education Research Center for Primary and Middle School Teachers, located in the Beijing Normal University, to service and build the web site. The web site has six online centers, including a news center, a training center, a research center, an academic center, a service center and an information exchange center.
The web site also has some special columns such as the China pedagogic education and backbone teachers.
It is connected to provincial departments for training teachers, normal schools, education-related research institutes, education-oriented enterprises and famous education web sites.
