Macedonia, Bosnia Sign Cooperative AgreementsMacedonian Foreign Minister Srgian Kerim and his visiting Bosnian counterpart Jadranko Prlic signed an agreement on road transport and a protocol on bilateral diplomatic cooperation in Skopje Thursday, according to the Macedonian new agency Mak-press.It quoted the two foreign ministers as saying that bilateral relations between Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina have been improving and there have emerged the possibilities for more cooperative agreements to be signed, including agreements on free trade and investment promotion. Kerim said that a stable and prosperous Bosnia-Herzegovina is of prominent significance to Macedonia, because the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina is vital to the security of the whole Balkan region, the Mak-press reported. Kerim also indicated that Macedonia is ready to boost cooperation with Bosnia-Herzegovina. During the meeting, Prlic expressed his belief that the visit, his first to Macedonia, will start a new period of more active bilateral cooperation. Prlic believed that the Bulkans can be turned into an area where prosperous multi-national states can be established. But he warned that any country which wants to be a regional power could only bring about disaster to the Balkans.
