China Sets Up Largest Sportswear MallA sportswear mall, believed to be the largest of its kind in China, was opened earlier this week in the town of Shaxi, near the city of Zhongshan of south China's Guangdong province.The new mall is more than 60,000 square meters in land area and has so far attracted 200 shops, selling some 30 world famous brands of sportswear in forms of both wholesale and retail. According to experts, the new mall will be an open window to both China and the world's sportswear markets. Shaxi is also one of China's major production bases for garments, especially sportswear. |
