Shenzhen SEZ to Build Seashore Scenery Corridor

South China's special economic zone of Shenzhen has decided to build its Shenzhen Bay area into a scenic corridor.

A source from the city's planning administration said recently at an international seminar that the future scenic corridor is expected to become the "pride" of Shenzhen which has come to be regarded as a "Garden City."

The Shenzhen Bay, having 15 kilometers of coastline, is the closest seashore area from downtown Shenzhen and has played an important role in shaping Shenzhen's landscape.

As a window for China's reform and opening-up, Shenzhen has made tremendous achievements in economic development and improving the environment.
