Children's Book in Tibetan Language Published
Children's books recording how famous entrepreneurs around the globe build up their family's fortune and ABC's of high-tech development appeared in book stores in this capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region on Wednesday, December 20.
The three sets of books, each having 10 volumes, were translated into Tibetan language by the Tibet Science and Technology Commission and published by the China Nationalities Publishing House. The first edition of the three books were 330,000 copies.
The books are exquisitely printed, easy to understand and are printed in both Tibetan languages and pictures. They are sold below the cost price as part of the government's effort to enrich the cultural life of Tibetan children and spread popular science.
