Five Killed, Three Missing in Boat Collision
A passenger boat collided into a freight boat December 19 in Neijiang city, Southwest China's
Sichuan
Province, killing five people and leaving at least three missing.
Passengers of the boat were thrown overboard after the collision, according to sources. The accident took place in Tuojiang river in Neijiang.
The owner of the passenger boat was detained for questioning.
Investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
