Performance of Listed Companies Rises 10% This Year
A senior official with
Shanghai
Stock Exchange (SSE) said Monday the performance of listed companies will make remarkable improvement and increase by 10 percent in 2000.
The major factors that are accountable for the turnaround of listed companies are: the growth of the state's macro-economy benefited part of the state-owned listed companies; the news of four reserves has been digested by the market; and the taxation rate for around 80 percent of listed companies stands at 15 percent.
