FM Spokeswoman on Inter-Korean Ministerial-Level Talks
The Chinese government is pleased to know that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (
DPRK
) and the Republic of Korea (
ROK
) have reached substantial agreements during the fourth inter-Korean ministerial-level talks.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue made the remarks during a regular press conference Tuesday, December 19.
China believes that as long as the two sides make joint efforts to follow the agreements reached in Inter-Korean Summit last June, the momentum of reconciliation between the north and the south will be maintained, she said.
