Partial Solar Eclipse Will Be Visible in North America on Christmas

People across North America will be able to see a partial solar eclipse on Christmas Day in which the Moon will slowly glide across the face of the Sun, appearing to take a "bite" out of it.

The eclipse will be visible from California, Mexico and the Caribbean to the upper Midwest, the Great Lakes region and all of eastern Canada, but the more northerly the latitude the better the show.
