Three Gorges Bonds to be listed

The Three Gorges Bonds of 1999 will be listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) in Dec 20.

The total issuing amount of the bonds is 3 billion yuan with a 10-year maturity. It has a floating interest rate based on the one-year savings account rate. Reportedly the executive rate of the bonds in the first rating year is 4 percent. The rate starts to be counted from July 25, 2000 to July 25, 2010.

Short form of the bonds after its listing in SSE will be 99 Three Gorges Bonds, and the securities code is 129903.

SSE reminded investors that since Three Gorges Bonds was real name book entry bonds when issued, the trading after its listing shall be conducted on physical settlement. Therefore investors must transfer its depositary from the Central Bonds Registration and Clearing Company to Shanghai Securities Central Registration and Clearing Company before trading.
