Electronic Law Enforcement System Operated in Beijing

An Electronic law enforcement system in China's port cities has lately made its debut in Beijing. This system has linked up all the import and export law enforcement organs in China's port cities, allowing them to share information and management methods.

The system can not only help enterprises handle import and export transactions, but also put a gag on the illegal activities such as smuggling, foreign exchange fraud and tax evasion.

The system, by adopting modern information technology, has stored all the electronic ledger data of import & export, capital and commodities, which are related to respective administrative departments in China. The information can be shared and exchanged on a unified, secure, reliable and effective computer platform.

Any administrative departments can check the inter-departmental cross-industry data by hooking on the network. Enterprises can also deal with all kinds of import and export businesses via the system.

As an important means for modern trade the launching of the system will greatly raise the efficiency in business dealings.

According to report, the system will be put into trial operation in Shanghai, Tianjin and Guangzhou next January and the nationwide popularization will be carried out in the first quarter of next year.
