Largest Liquor Trade Center Settles in Guangzhou

The South China Name-brand liquor Trade Center, China's largest specialized alcohol market, recently settled in Guangzhou, the capital city of south China's Guangdong Province. As a major commodity collection and distribution center, Guangzhou presently has an annual sale volume of over 1 million tons of alcohol, accounting for more than 10 percent of the national total.

The lately completed trade center covers an area of over 15,000 square meters with more than 600 stores and thousands of alcohol brands.

It's reported that the trade center, which integrates the transaction of famous Chinese and foreign wines, news briefing, wine culture exhibition, marketing and distribution, inspection and examination, and other functions, has set up e-platform jointly with the China National Commercial Information Center and linked it with nationwide factories, Chinese and foreign wineries and all large commercial outlets across the country, thus forming a gigantic "south China network selling and distributing famous and quality Chinese wines and other beverage".

China has a long history of alcohol culture, there are now more than 50,000 wineries nationwide.
