China Approves of 19.7 Thousand Foreign-Funded Firms in First 11 Months News from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) said from January to November this year, China had approved of 19.7 thousand foreign-invested enterprises, a rise of 29.12 percent over the same period last year. The contracted foreign capital topped US$ 48.567 billion, an increase of 36.28 percent on a year-on-year basis. The actually utilized foreign capital was US$ 36.24 billion yuan, down 2.29 percent year-on-year.
