Construction of Harbin Software Park StartsWork has started on the southern section of the Harbin Software Park in Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.The park has the central, southern, eastern and western sections covering a total area of 340,000 square meters. The 120,000 sq m southern section involves a total investment of 550 million yuan (about US$70 million). It is scheduled for completion in five years. It will have a computer technology innovative center, a center of demonstration for software production and research and a training center for entrepreneurs and technicians. Upon completion, the park will become a major information center in China. |
