2001 APEC Meeting Holds First Liaison Meeting
2001 APEC Meeting held first liaison staff meeting in Beijing Friday, December 15, official presenting China's preparatory work to all members.
China is to host the 2001 APEC informal leadership meeting and all relevant activities, including several ministerial and senior official meetings.
Official with the secretariat of the China Preparatory Committee briefed the attendants on the arrangement of schedule, protocol, press, security, logistics, on-line registration in the upcoming year.
Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui presided over the meeting and liaison staff from all APEC members attended the meeting.
