AT&T, Internet Solutions Provider to Huawei
As informed from sources, AT&T has signed a four-item agreement December 14 with Huawei Technologies Co Ltd., which is known as a famous manufacturer of telecommunication equipment in China.
According to the agreement, AT&T is to provide its partner with consultation, design and Internet solutions in domestic and international businesses in the coming three years. The plan for Internet designing provided by AT&T will help lay a firm foundation for Huawei to develop into a global giant in the designing, manufacturing and selling of its equipment in the international telecommunication market, said Li Xiaotao, senior vice-president of Huawei.
Founded in 1875, AT&T has a 20-year history of being a telecommunication service provider to China. And Huawei, as one of the newcomers in the global telecommunication business, its products have been sold to over 30 countries and regions in the world and this year may witness a sales volume to reach two billion in US dollars.
