Vice-Premier Wu Bangguo Meets Australian MinisterChinese Vice-Premier Wu Bangguo said Thursday, December 14, that the construction of information infrastructure will be a top priority in the new century and encourages cooperation with foreign companies in the sector.Wu made the remark during a meeting with Australian Minister of Communications, Information Technology and Arts Richard Alston, who is here as guest of China's Ministry of Information Industry. Wu said China and Australia are mutually-complementary in many areas and the Chinese Government encourages enterprises from the two countries to cooperate on the basis of mutual benefit.
