Chinese Army Chief Leaves for Three-Nation Trip

Fu Quanyou, chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, left Beijing Thursday, December 14, for a visit to Venezuela, Cuba and Greece.

Fu, who is also a member of the Central Military Commission, is visiting the three countries at the invitation of German Marin Comez, chief of the Joint Staff of Venezuelan armed forces, Alvaro Lopez Miera, chief of the General Staff of the Cuban revolutionary armed forces, and Manoussos Paragioudakis, chief of the General Staff of Greece's Defense Forces.
