Beijingers Claim Fast Income Growth

Beijing Statistics Bureau reveals that Beijingers' average salary from January to November this year totaled RMB$13606 yuan, up 16% over the same period of last year, showing a real growth rate of 12.4% when consumer price index is deducted. The disposable amount of urban residents' income was placed at a per-capita average of RMB$9489.1 yuan, up 12.9%, or a real growth rate of 9.4%.

The rural people have also got a fast income growth in Beijing. By their cash income from January to November they netted a per-capita average of RMB$4656 yuan, 10.4% up, of which 77.9% were from economic productive lines on a family scale.
