Chinese Premium Income to Exceed 150 Bn YuanStatistics form the China Insurance Regulatory Commission show that in the first 10 months of this year the Premium income from the insurance industry had amounted to 128.2 billion Yuan and this year's total is expected to exceed 150 billion yuan, maintaining a two-digit growth rate.Of the total income, 50.6 billion yuan came from the property insurance, accounting for about 40 percent, 77.6 billion yuan from the personal insurance, for 60 percent, which consists of 65.8 billion yuan form the life insurance, 6.7 billion yuan and 5.1 billion yuan from the accident insurance and the health insurance respectively. According to the statistics, of all the 39 billion yuan insurance indemnities in the first 10 months, 23.3 billion yuan went to property insurance, making up 60 percent, and15.7 billion yuan to personal insurance including 2.6 billion yuan to accident insurance indemnities, 1 billion yuan to health and 12.1 billion yuan to life insurance. By the end of October, Chinese insurance industry had invested 112.8 billion yuan in buying national treasure bonds (81 billion yuan), securities funds (10.6 billion yuan). It's analyzed by relevant authorities that due to the warming up of the Chinese economy, enhancement of people's insurance awareness as well as the present low level of China's insurance industry, this industry is expected to maintain a two-digit growth rate in the coming years, but the quality and operational and management level remain to be further improved.
