i Knesset (parliament) on Wednesday, December 13, approved preliminary reading of a bill that would allow all citizens to run for the premiership.
The bill raised to facilitate former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's candidacy for the upcoming prime ministerial election was called "Netanyahu Bill."
