Wheat Straw Paintings Becoming Popular in Harbin

A type of new painting made of wheat straws is becoming increasingly popular in Harbin, capital of NE China's Heilongjiang Province.

The paintings are made after skillful craftsmen dye, irone, cut and paste wheat straws, corn stalks and some other materials which are available in northern China's countryside. This kind of painting is vivid��diverse in form and environment-friendly.

Now, the paintings are now entering homes as decorations since their prices are reasonable and their style is unique.
