Beijing Forms CID to Fight Against Violence
The
Beijing
Police recently formed a Criminal Investigation Division (CID) to increase its effectiveness in cracking down on violence.
According to police sources, the CID is responsible for criminal detection of violence, such as in murder and organized crime cases in the Chinese capital.
Modern technologies and equipment will be used by CID police in carrying out their work.
Statistics show that Beijing Police solved over 20,000 criminal cases and arrested more than 20,000 suspects last year.
