Electronic Postal Payment System to Be Launched in China

Shanghai Huateng Software System Co. Ltd. and the State Post Bureau have lately signed an agreement on the launching of electronic postal payment system, signaling that the research on this system has been started.

The system is expected to bring to a finish next April. By then, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Shandong, a total of 15 cities and provinces will open up online payment system and clients can buy stamps, subscribe to newspapers and draw remittance directly via this system instead of doing them in post offices.
